Book Meme Part II

1. Total number of books owned
If you don't count my collection of Enid Blyton and prescribed texts from uni as well as reference books, zero. Books are so dear! I've discovered a wonderful community venue called duh the Library.

2. The last book I bought
Refer to 1.

3. The last book I read
To cut a long story short by Jeffrey Archer. Honestly, I'm not much of a fan for short stories. I like a thick good novel that I could sink my teeth in. However, having not read his works in a long time, it was a refreshing change. He writes from everyday experiences, on life, on politics. Quite amusing at times. At least it requires thinking and his stories always have an abrupt ending. Which is rare but rather entertaining if not OD-ed on it.

4. Five books that mean a lot to me
-Financial Freedom - yeah, teaches me how to save or rather, reminds me that I do need to save.
-The hitchiker's guide to the galaxy - one word. Hilarious.
-No wonder they called Him Saviour - Max Lucado. Looking at things from another perspective. Surprisingly, I own this book as it was a gift.
-Purpose-Driven Life. Probably one of the most hyped over books and QT and CG material of our generation.
-Finally, last but not least. The Bible. Yeah, scorn if you wish. I will bend and not break. HAH! :)

5. Tag 5 people and have them fill this out on their blogs
Don't know that many who read my blog and those who do (Sze and Shryh) have already gotten this. In fact, I got tagged by Sze and accidentally tagged by Shryh :P

Alright, alright.
Jon Poh! Just because I hadn't read much new entries from him in ages. He's just busy making loads and loads of moolah so that he can buy nice furniture and nice new toys so that when I get to Melbourne next year, I can have a nice place to bunk in. Whoopee! :)

Yeah, I "accidentally" tagged you like how I "accidentally" put you on my blogroll. =P

I don't think anyone will scorn you for putting the Bible on the list. It is significant in so many ways: no.1 bestseller of all time, first book printed by Gutenberg was the King James Bible, and besides, uh, if I scorn you, I think you have the Almighty on YOUR side. =P Jokes aside, even for secular humanists like me, the Bible is a thrilling read, especially the Old Testament. =)

Hmm... try reading the genealogy of Jesus. Very good bedtime story. Oh oh oh, my fav book is the Psalms. So lyrical. Not to mention it speaks to me most of the time.

BTW, the Almighty is on YOUR side too ;)
